Jennie Clark strongly believes that people of all ages should have the opportunity to engage in life, create meaningful relationships and enjoy well-being. In a society that typically focuses on youth, Jennie advocates for older adults and their needs. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Master of Arts degree in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte while serving as captain of the nationally-ranked Division I Women’s Soccer program. Jennie is a Credentialed Professional Gerontologist, Certified Geriatric Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Board Certified in Alzheimer Education. Jennie currently directs the Stanford Health Care Memory Support Program. She is a guest lecturer at Stanford and has presented at multiple national conferences. She is published in the Clinical Gerontologist and the Seniors Housing & Care Journal. Her research interests include well-being in person-centered dementia care, reminiscence and life review, and family caregiving for people with dementia
