Kensington Place is proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness about memory loss. At some point in life, you or someone you love will likely forget a name, an anniversary or where you put your keys. But it can be unsettling if memory lapses become frequent, begin to interfere with daily life or compromise safety.
Join Zack Suggs, Senior Director of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Silicon Valley, as we learn:
- the difference between normal forgetfulness and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
- what steps to take if you or someone you love is showing signs of progressive memory loss.
- the newest research on slowing disease progression by way of socialization, stimulation and exercise.
- the latest news about the drug Leqembi®, which was recently approved by the FDA to help treat the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
Our Kensington Place team is committed to excellence in care and service and is proud to be a trusted source of information about dementia and Alzheimer’s care. We encourage you to share your concerns so we can provide the expert support you or your loved one needs. Please reach out.
Save the Date for the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s! We are raising awareness and funds that enable the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. Help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 and RSVP to walk with us on Saturday, October 14th from 8-11am.
