Steven Russell, Stanford Parkinson’s Community Outreach Program, cared for his father with Parkinson’s Disease for the last six years of his life. After his passing, Steven served on several non-profit boards working on resources and support for those living with an atypical parkinsonism or idiopathic Parkinson’s diagnosis. He has worked at the Stanford Parkinson’s Community Outreach Program for 12 years, helping anyone needing information about Parkinson’s. He provides referrals for movement disorder physicians, neurologists, PT, OT, SLP, social workers or psychologists with expertise in movement disorders anywhere in Northern or Central California (whether or not the person is seen at Stanford).
