Announcing ConnectedLiving.com Partnership

In partnership with ConnectedLiving.com, Kensington Senior Living is proud to introduce an innovative technology solution designed to support our residents, family members and friends to stay digitally connected with each other in our community or with your loved-ones residing at Kensington Place Redwood City.

connected living logoAs a piece of the foundation of our programming, Connected Living will provide specially designed tools to help you relate and communicate with your loved one throughout their assisted living and memory care journey.

  • For the leadership and care staff at Kensington Place, the Connected Living Network will act as a new way to provide person centered care through the design of activities and therapeutic content that stimulates cognition, supports emotional and spiritual expression, and kindles reminiscing, for each resident.
  • For families, the Connected Living Network, will provide a virtual, “window into the community” allowing for the viewing of up to-date calendars, dining menus photos, alerts, and more. Members of the assisted living and memory care team will use your email messages and family photos to provide comfort and familiarity to your loved one – anytime.

In addition, our care team members will hold weekly therapeutic group activities using the Connected Living Network. Data shows that engaging in purposeful, multi-sensory activities and feeling socially connected may improve mood and maintain existing skills.

Joseph Coughlin, a leading expert in the field of technology and aging, included our new partner (Connected Living) in his recent article in the Wall Street Journal. The primary focus of this article is to discuss how technology will transform retirement.
